What Causes Warts?

Warts can be identified easily by their characteristic grainy, rough texture. These growths are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). While some strains of HPV are contracted through sexual contact, others can be spread through casual touch or shared objects like towels. Biting your nails can also cause warts to appear on your fingertips and spread through the rest of your hands.

What Are the Treatment Options?

Laser wart removal is an effective option when addressing warts. This treatment can take anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours, depending on the severity of your problem. What to Expect?
